Storm Soccer Club was formed as a non-profit organization in 2010 and has members from Dartmouth, Cole Harbour, Eastern Passage, Porters Lake and Waverly. It was formed as a community soccer program to help young players to be able to play affordable, high caliber soccer and learn from experienced and certified coaches.
Since its inception, Storm’s main objective has been to provide inexpensive and accessible soccer practices open to all children, using dedicated training methods. Our soccer program has been designed to promote a fun and energetic style of play, enabling the youth from our community to reach their full potential in the sport, whilst building true camaraderie. Storm is managed by a board of volunteers, and has a pool of 30+ volunteer coaches.
Storm Soccer Club has experienced rapid growth and the age ranges for players has expanded over the years. We have age divisions for both boys and girls from U6 - U21, including “A” and “B” level teams for U13 and up. We also have several Senior Women's teams that play in the MSWSL. We operate as a year round Club, with both a summer and winter season.
