Mini Soccer is a wonderful introduction to the game. For many kids this program will be the first organized sport they have ever played and as a Club we strive to make this first experience both memorable and rewarding.
Storm Soccer Club uses the Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards which are designed to create the best possible learning and development environment for all young players who join us.
We understand that a player’s soccer technique revolves around core skills such as passing, receiving, and controlling the ball which will only improve through:
Getting lots of touches on the ball
Fun competitions that motivate players and give them the ability to use lots of different techniques
Receiving positive feedback
And most importantly, the opportunity to have fun and make friends!
Whether your child is just starting and learning the basics of physical literacy, soccer skills, social development, and cooperation or they are continuing on their soccer journey and being introduced to the 'foundation' of soccer and playing in small-sided games… everything we do is focussed on giving them the best possible experience.
Storm Soccer Club is focused on creating a positive environment that is supportive, warm, and welcoming, ensuring that all our players and young people are happy and safe.
Our Mini’s practice twice a week. The practice schedule for each season will be released and posted on the website, as well as sent via email to all those who have registered.
